End Of August mood board

While in high school I was a part of a lifestyle/fashion club called Buzz Magazine. Throughout my time in the club, I held various position titles, one of my favourites being the Lifestyle Officer. I would consider this the point in my life where I truly started enjoying curating, although, I had always had an eye for the pretty things. I loved nothing more than sitting on Pinterest for hours compiling images to create inspiration boards, mood boards, manifestation boards, whatever you wanna call them...

I thought to myself, "why not keep doing it" if I loved it so much? I have the perfect platform to do so.

As the leaves begin to fall and weather in the mornings comes cool to the touch,

we fall out of touch with our child-like summer-selves, falling back into the routines of society.

Those long summer nights fade slowly into memory,

as we are presented with the hustle to the holidays.

These long August nights remind us to indulge,

indulging in the beauty of life, a memory, a get-together, a colour, a feeling,

these long August nights try to remind us to stay true to our child-like selves,

as it is easier to forget than to push forward staying true to ourselves in a society that is trying to make us forget.
